2008 at the Zoo

We LOVE Mesker ZOO!!! We are so happy to see our little Zoo expanding! Amazonia is Amazing! It makes us happy. We love to spend the day there. We have great times as a family and just love to have a fun easy day spending time with each other.
Jonathon is always up for a silly photo opportunity. Here we see him hamming it up at the Prairie "Dawg" exhibit!
Emma love to visit the gentle creatures and she loves our giraffe and the baby zebra.
Nobody wants that big tongue to get too close but we LOVE feeding time at the zoo!

Its always a good day when we get together as a family and enjoy what our town has to offer. Animals are a big part of our life and we love to support our zoo!

Evansville Ice Storm 2009

While we are too lazy to pull out the real camera, these photos from the cell phone arent too bad. Some people are still without power for the 7th day. (Started on Mon. night 1-26-09) The kids missed 4 days of school. (there were NO complaints from them) We are blessed to only loose power for a day and a half but OH how COLD is was!

This Video is best viewed in a smaller format but you can get the idea of how bad it started to get. This was only the first part of our storm!
